Single-trip and annual permits
DOTD single-trip oversize permits are $10 per day/trip; overweight permits are priced by gross vehicle weight and mileage and are valid 5 days (DOTD single-trip permits).
The annual oversize/overweight heavy-equipment permit is $2,500 per year, up to 120,000 lb GVW and 14'4" high × 12' wide × 90' long. For permits issued from September 2, 2025, a Registered Route is required before each move (DOTD annual permits).
These are government permit fees, not rental prices. Fees and rules change, so check DOTD before you haul.
Easiest option: provider delivery
Most providers deliver and pick up their own machines and handle hauling. Ask when you request a quote.
