Are you the rental company?
No. We are an independent referral service. We connect you with independent local rental providers, who set their own rates, terms and availability.
How much does heavy equipment rental cost in Baton Rouge?
We do not publish prices. Rates depend on the machine, rental length, delivery and operator needs, and the provider quotes you directly.
Do I need a permit for a crane lift on a Baton Rouge street?
Yes. A crane lift in the City-Parish right-of-way needs a Street Closure Permit; insurance and indemnification are due at least 30 days before and the traffic control plan at least 7 days before.
Can I haul a rented machine without a DOTD permit?
Only if it is within Louisiana legal limits: 102 inches wide and 13 ft 6 in high (14 ft on interstates).
When do I call 811?
At least 48 hours and no more than 120 hours before digging, excluding weekends and listed holidays.
Does a crane operator need certification?
Yes, under OSHA 1926.1427, unless the crane's rated capacity is 2,000 lb or less.
Do telehandler operators need training?
Yes. OSHA requires training and an evaluation, repeated at least every 3 years.
Can I get an operated rental?
Many providers offer operated cranes and boom trucks. Ask when you call.
Do you have a yard I can visit?
No. We are a referral service and do not operate a yard or storefront.
